The Living Room is Kocrea’s collaborative space that integrates a creative stage with a quiet mindfulness room for independent makers, founders, and anyone seeking room beyond the daily rush. Part media studio, part cultural house, it is a place to think, gather, and build momentum without losing balance.
Workshops, residencies, and open sessions unfold across craft, movement, and conversation, shaping immersive programs to launch, reset, and bring a healthier rhythm back to city life.

The Living Room transforms throughout the month into a rotating cultural salon led by founders, makers, and builders offering a space to unwind and shake off the week. It’s our way of bringing more creativity to daily life while protecting mental space around community, self-care, and creative living. Whether starting up or simply seeking a fresh spark, guests of The Living Room will discover how creativity contributes to a more balanced life and broadens the horizon of any pursuit. Open to all media and communities — from students and entrepreneurs to institutions and enterprises, our events are designed to welcome exchange across generations and disciplines.

OUR STORY
From marketing to creative living
Kocrea began as a solo marketing consultancy back in early 2020, crafting compelling growth strategies for Hong Kong-based entrepreneurs and small businesses.
But consultancy was never the end goal. It was the first expression of a wider exploration:
How do we build life our own way?
For years, we carried that question through corporate work, travels and conversations with founders. Now, we explore it through media, co-creation and lived experience.
Creativity is one expression of that journey.
Not as output. As a health practice.
A way to reset the nervous system.
To gather.
To move.
To make sense of ambition.
The Living Room is the first physical chapter of that exploration. A collaborative space in Wan Chai where ideas become alive through workshops, residencies, and weekly rhythms. A meeting point between culture and craft. Between training and freeing the mind.
Kocrea is a collaborative effort to approach entrepreneurship more naturally, as a path to living better and fuller lives. It’s the marriage of our appreciation for craftsmanship and our love for sharing knowledge with people.
And still, beneath it all, the question remains.
How do we live well? Everything we create is an attempt to find out.

From the beginning, it has grown through collaboration. Brought to life by designers, strategists, freelancers, artists. Passionate people trading skills, ideas, and time.
Our collective is the foundation of the Living Room. It is a shared momentum that defines everything happening inside, from our workshops and residencies to our everyday conversations. We believe starting up should feel less lonely, and that momentum moves further when carried together.
Kocrea evolved through a genuine model of exchange, rooted in skill sharing, generosity and mutual growth. What began as an inner circle became a trusted collective of freelancers proving the power of a community-driven economy 🫶.
The Collective continues to expand. We are now opening a partnership program designed to nurture the Collective and refine the Living Room experience.

ISSUE 01. The Grand Opening Night // June 17, 2026
◘ We take a first look inside the grand opening of the Living Room, Kocrea’s physical space in Wan Chai. The evening brought together an inaugural close circle for an immersive introduction of DIY craft stations, creative exchange, natural wine, and shared synergy. The official launching night was merely a first glimpse of a deeper expansion. Behind closed doors, the Living Room is evolving into a social club for urban decompression, a space designed to protect mental space within the rhythm of city life. Its seasonal calendar curates social artistry, sensory crafts, and movement disciplines as quiet interventions that rebalance the week through creativity. Each session is conceived to create room: to pause, to reset, to reconnect. The Living Room is a space for reflection and action across body and mind. Open to all media and communities — from students and entrepreneurs to institutions and enterprises, it is built to welcome exchange across generations and disciplines. Future experiential events will continue to operate on an exclusive membership-basis access.
